HOW MANY IMAGES ARE INCLUDED?
As a minimum for weddings I deliver at least 600. For sessions I deliver a minimum of 50. I don’t put a set number of how many you will receive, but I never leave anything out. I don’t put a cap or limit on what I deliver. Every wedding is different and varies from the last, and numbers are always changing. If you’d like to see some full wedding galleries please feel free to ask! I’m happy to send over a few so you can get an idea of what I deliver.
DO YOU GIVE RAWS?
Nope, I don’t because editing is half the process/magic that goes into images and with out that huge step the images are only halfway done. I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed delivering a photo just ask! I’m more then happy to check back through my images and send it over for you. I won’t let you miss out on any memories
WHAT IF WE NEED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING?
If you’ve already but a deposit down on a date and then have to move/cancel it, the deposit is non-refundable. If I’m available on the new date I will be more then happy to transfer your deposit to the new date. If the wedding is canceled I will be un-able to refund the non-refundable deposit. I don’t do this because I’m trying ti suck money from you, but because I’m counting on that money during that time to pay bills and only take on limited amounts of jobs per month, meaning that I depend on that money.
WHAT HAPPENS IS IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUT WEDDING?
Heaven forbid this happens, but in the case of something crazy/out of my control happens making me unable to make it to your wedding, then I will do my best to find a replacement photographer that I trust to come in and take my place to shoot it. I’m not legally held to do so. In the case of me or a replacement not making it to your wedding, you will be fully refunded.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE DUE TO WEATHER?
We can reschedule if the weather is really that awful, but some of my favorite sessions ever have been in the rain/hail/storms! And wind? Pshh… wind is what I pray we get before every shoot! embracing the weather makes for incredible photos. The only time I’ve rescheduled photo shoots due to weather is if my camera will be ruined by the weather. We will make that decision together whether we need to reschedule or not .
HOW DO PAYMENT SCHDULES WORK?
I require 25% down at the time of booking to hold your date, and the remaining due 1 month prior to your wedding or shoot date. I know weddings get expensive and you need a payment plan please ask and we can work something out. I accept venmo, cash, or through my honeybook platform.
CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP US TO LOOK SKINNIER / HAVE CLEAR SKIN/ HAVE A DINOSAUR CHASING US IN OUR PHOTOS?
I’m not a personal trainer and I don’t change people appearance. I want to focus on making you feel beautiful, rather then look unrealistic. So no, I don’t Photoshop your bodies to appear different then they actually are . Yes, I clear up skin and remove distractions, Yes, I’ll Photoshop a dinosaur chasing you if you really want (cant promise it will look good though hahaha)
WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR PHOTOS?
Wear something that is comfortable and is your style. be yourselves! If you are the type of people that would rather sit around in sweats all day like me and binge Netflix shoes and don’t understand why girls can’t wear pants to church, then it will probably not make sense for you to wear something fancy haha. Sticking to neutrals is best, but message me and I can help you choose outfits based on the location we will shoot at.
Travel Fees for weddings
Some photographers do set travel fees, I don’t. I just have you pay for the bare minimum (flight, transportation, stay) and I cover the rest. I’m also open to staying with you, your family, camping or sharing an airbnb with you to help save you $$$. And if it works out on both ends I’m also more than happy to get picked up and dropped off at the airport to save on paying for a rental car!
For booking, I book flights and rental car on my own (you can book my stay if you’d like, but I am firm on booking my own flights + transportation). I make sure to get your confirmation on logistics + price before booking anything to ensure there are no surprise costs on your end! Once booked, the payment for them is due within one week of receiving your invoice.
You can estimate costs by checking how much hotels/airbnbs typically cost in the area we will be staying, how much roundtrip flights are from OAK, and rental cars are typically around $50 per day or less when booked in advance.
